Canceling is simple.
We want you to stay because it helps you, not because you can't leave. So if you have decided to cancel, here is exactly how it works and what you are entitled to, in plain English, under Israel's Consumer Protection Law and its regulations.
Your right
The Alice journey is a digital service bought online, which makes it a distance sale. Your right to cancel is set out in Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 5771-2010. Nothing on this page takes away from those rights, or from any right the consumer protection law of the place where you live gives you; it only explains them in human language.
14 days to cancel
You can cancel the purchase within 14 days of the day you paid. In that case we will return the amount you paid, and the only thing the law allows us to deduct is a cancellation fee of whichever is lower: 5% of the purchase price, or the fixed cap set in the regulations. On a $99 journey that comes to about $5.
Our commitment: no cancellation fee
In practice we go a step beyond the law. If you ask to cancel within the first 14 days and have not yet gone deep into the journey, we will refund the full amount: no cancellation fee, no questions, no need to explain.
If you have already been through most of the 21 days and your personal summary has been written, the journey is a digital product that has been fully consumed, so beyond your legal right no further refund will be given. In any case, your right to cancel under the law and its regulations always remains yours.
How to cancel
Send us a single email at contact@alicemind.co with the name and email address the journey was bought with (and the purchase date, if you have it). You can cancel in any written, documented way: we will confirm we received it and handle your request.
If you received the journey as a gift, the cancellation request must be made by the person who paid for it.
When the money comes back
The refund is made within 14 days of receiving the cancellation request, to the original payment method (through Stripe). Prices are in US dollars, and any tax that applies is shown at checkout.
Special cases
If you are canceling because of a defect, a mismatch between the service and what was promised, or a fault on our side, we will not deduct any cancellation fee, and we will refund the full amount.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund request in cases of abuse, a breach of the terms of use, or attempted fraud.
